Introducing Tuft 3.0…
We’ve stripped, clipped and even tripped, but most importantly we have listened to you. Tuft 3.0 symbolises more than just a new and improved experience, it’s a call to action, a flag in the sand – we are not just passing through, we are here to stay!
Tuft 3.0 is an amalgamation of all of your feedback this past 3 years, and a slice of humble pie for us – we didn’t know what we didn’t know! Let’s explore some of the upcoming updates, all built with you, the groomer, in mind.
Works on All Devices 📱💻
Whether on your phone, tablet, or computer, Tuft 3.0 will work perfectly across all your devices. So, no matter where you are, you’ll have easy access to everything you need. We know this isn’t groundbreaking, but Tuft 2.0 was built to see if people wanted the product…turns out you do, so now we can forge ahead confidently.
Floating Action Button 🎈
You’ll notice a new button floating on your screen, ready to help with important tasks. It’s always within reach, making it easier to get things done quickly. The actions of this button change depending on which screen you are on. Perfect for when you are on the go.
Fresh Icons ✏️🗑️
We’ve introduced a brand new icon set to keep things clear and simple. You’ll see pencils, bins, and even a human icon (that one shows when a client has booked).
We’ve also added some helpful colour-coded Alerts & Notices. Below are some examples of the Alerts/Notices you may see in your new dashboard.
Calendar Improvements 🗓️
We’ve tidied up the calendar, making it easier to navigate and manage your bookings.
Here’s how the colours now work:
- Solid colour: Confirmed or completed.
- Coloured border no background: There’s something that needs your attention.
- Coloured border with stripes: Booking needs salon approval.
- Coloured border with squares: Booking was a no-show.
We’ve also made it easier to identify closed hours and non-working times with clearer markings.
Improved Booking Cards 🐾
We’ve reorganised the booking cards to make things more straightforward. Client information is now neatly tabbed, and the finance section has a dedicated tab.
The main action button changes depending on the status of the booking, helping you keep track with ease.
Other useful updates include:
- Source information: Clearly shows who made the booking.
- Deposit icons: At the top, you can see whether a deposit has been paid or is still pending.
- Action nest: Rescheduling, editing and cancelling actions have been moved to their own dedicated action nest which you can access by tapping the 3 dots.
Streamlined Client Records 🐶
Searching through client records is now quicker, with the search bar moved to the top. Clients who have the app will have a green dot next to their name. You’ll also notice new columns for the number of bookings, upcoming appointments, and the last booking made.
Each pet now has its own tab, making it easier to manage their information. There’s also a direct-to-message button for quicker communication, and flags and tags are available to help you stay organised.
Updated Pet Records 🐾
Pet records have received a few updates as well. Medical information is now displayed more prominently in the basic details, and client details have been reorganised—don’t worry, it’s all easy to find!
There’s also a new dropdown menu for switching between pet bookings, and the most recent appointment is flagged for easy reference. Published and draft records are now in separate tabs, helping you keep everything in order.
