How do refunds work?

Last updated: February 28, 2024

If you’re within your cancellation conditions you can easily cancel and we’ll refund you automatically via the app. You can read the cancellation policy. Your deposit is refundable if you cancel within more than 48 hours of your upcoming appointment.

If you’re outside your these cancellation conditions then you will need to get in touch with the salon first. Often the salons featured on Tuft are independent businesses, so failing to attend an appointment, or cancelling last-minute affects more than just their schedule. Deposits reduce the impact on business owners which would usually be financially impacted through cancellations/no-shows.

Deposits that are prepaid online are sent directly to the salon that’s been booked. This means that only they have the permissions to authorise a refund.

All refunds, once approved, will be sent back to the original payment method. Refunds can take up to 3-5 working days from the day of approval.

We can also reach out to the salon for you. You can ask us to do this by dropping an email to our friendly customer service team.

We’ll need the following details:

  • Order reference
  • Charge
  • We may also ask for proof (eg. a card statement).

Send us these details, quoting “Refund Request” in the subject line, to [email protected] we endeavour to respond to all enquiries within 48 hours.
