Why do I have to pay a deposit?

Because most of the salons on Tuft are one or two people running their own business. When someone doesn’t turn up, that’s not just an awkward gap in the diary, it’s income they can’t get back. A deposit means they aren’t carrying that risk alone.

It also means slots go to people who actually intend to use them, so there’s more availability for everyone.

Cancel more than 48 hours before your booking and your deposit comes back to you. Cancel with less than 48 hours to go and the salon can keep it.

If you weren’t happy with the groom itself, start with the salon. They were there, and most of these get sorted in one conversation. If that doesn’t get you anywhere, come to us and our customer service team will look into it for you.
