Why haven’t I received a refund after I cancelled?

Last updated: February 28, 2024

If you have cancelled your appointment and didn’t receive a refund, but think you are eligible, please note the following;

  • Our bookings and refunds policy can be found here.
  • Refunds can take up to 3-5 working days to process, if it hasn’t been this long since you cancelled your appointment, it may still be processing.
  • You are eligible for a refund if you cancel more than 48 hours in advance of your appointment
  • Your cancelled booking may be outside of the cancellation policy, please make sure you have reviewed the policy before contacting the salon directly or Tuft
  • Any disputes should be taken up with the salon first, who will then be in touch with us if your deposit needs to be refunded.

Often the salons featured on Tuft are independent businesses, so failing to attend an appointment, or cancelling last-minute affects more than just their schedule. Deposits reduce the impact on business owners which would usually be financially impacted through cancellations/no-shows. Your deposit is refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of your upcoming appointment.
