Is my deposit refundable?

Yes, as long as you cancel more than 48 hours before your booking. Your deposit goes back to your original payment method automatically, and it usually lands within 3 to 5 working days.

Cancel with less than 48 hours to go and the salon can keep it. That isn’t us being difficult. Two days is roughly what a groomer needs to offer the slot to someone on their waiting list, and below that the space normally goes unfilled.

Many of the salons on Tuft are independent businesses, so a no-show or a last-minute cancellation costs them more than a gap in the diary. Deposits soften that.

Want to challenge a kept deposit? Talk to the salon. They can tell us to refund you, and we’ll process it within 3 to 5 working days of their instruction.

Honestly though, if you can make another day work, move your booking instead. Nobody loses anything that way.
